On Wednesdays We Wear Pink: Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm in Lilac

I have an addiction, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I am fully, deeply, madly, passionately in love with Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm in Lilac.

The addiction really started with the original Dior Addict Lip Glow. Come on -- a lip balm that enhances the natural color of your lips and brings out a pink shade that's unique to your body chemistry? It's basically getting a customized lipcolor for a fraction of what I believe that to be worth. This is a product I've bought again and again (and again and again), because I really and truly love it.

So, a few months ago, I wandered into Sephora during my fateful trip to Pittsburgh (only a few blissful hours before the ankle break happened). I really didn't NEED anything, but let's be honest, who can go into Sephora without making at least one impulse purchase? And that's when I discovered Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm in Lilac -- a limited edition, slightly deeper version of the original pale pink.

Well, I assume we can all guess what happened next. I snatched this baby off the shelf, plunked down my credit card and immediately slicked it onto my pout. I think we can agree on the fact that I really had no choice but to buy it. Within moments, my lips were transformed into things of pure beauty ... pillowy soft, perfectly plumped and prettily pinked.

I love the chic design of this Dior lip balm.

I honestly love everything about this lip balm. It moisturizes and softens lips while adding just the right amount of color. The more you apply it throughout the day, the more it becomes similar to a lip stain, so then you actually can STOP applying it because your lips are perfectly pink! And come on -- who doesn't love the pink case and lacquered silver top? This is one truly elegant lip balm if I ever saw one.

Sadly, Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm in Lilac was limited edition and is no longer available. But you can get the original Pink (which I should pretty much just buy stock at this point in because I have purchased it so many times) or the newer shade, Coral. I think it's fairly obvious I'll be buying that one immediately.
