Mani of the Week: Dior Nirvana

My favorite color launching this spring? Dior Nirvana. This creamy turquoise-green has got my pulse racing -- it's unlike any other in my collection! One coat is fairly opaque, but two turn it into absolute perfection.

Mani of the Week: Dior Gris Montaigne with Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe

I went for something a little different with my manicure this week! After over two weeks, I finally removed my Shellac -- and immediately tried something crazy. I painted nine of my nails with two coats of Dior Gris Montaigne, a gorgeously creamy charcoal ... and then jazzed things up with my index finger painted in three coats of Deborah Lippmann Across The Universe.

Across the Universe is a teal-turquoise hybrid liberally packed with various sizes of glitter and shimmer that fall willy nilly across the nail. It's a color I'd been dying to get my hands on (pun intended) for a YEAR -- ever since I saw it backstage at Lela Rose last February -- so I'm super happy to finally be using it!

The Shower Gel Journey: Dior J’Adore Creamy Shower Gel

Direct from Paris, the very special body wash comes in an enticing box, lettered in gold. Inside awaits an elegant perfume bottle-shaped gel just waiting to be opened.

Creamy lather, scented with Ylang-Ylang essential oils, delivers a soft and supple result. The fragrance lasts through the day as a reminder of my Parisian shower gel journey.

Fresh, Fragrant and Totally Summer Appropriate: Dior Miss Dior Cherie L'Eau Eau de Toilette

I've been on the lookout for the perfect summer fragrance for quite awhile. Many are just too heady, too strong, too fragrant. But then I came across Dior Miss Dior Cherie L'Eau Eau de Toilette, and I knew I had found my perfect match.

For starters, I'm in love with the bottle. The delicate, utterly vanity-worthy square glass bottle is topped by a stopper with the prettiest, most delicate bow -- such a sweet, sophisticated touch.

The scent is lovely and delightful. A floral base of freesia, jasmine and orange blossom opens up to notes of popcorn, vanilla, caramel and patchouli. It's intriguing and warm yet undeniably soft -- and just a few spritzes on your pulse points will last for hours without feeling cloying. I would equate it to Clinique Happy Heart -- it has a warmth that really makes it interesting.

Truth be told, this is one of my favorite fragrances in quite some time. One can only hope it doesn't run out too quickly.

A Rose is a Rose: Dior Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm

Some people have issues with pot balms. Not me -- I really love them. I think they're so chic and really add a luxurious element to my makeup bag or purse. Dior Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm has a delightful rosy scent that just makes me feel ultra-feminine every time I slick it on ... not to mention I get tons of compliments on the gorgeous packaging!

Lash Envy: Dior DiorShow Extase Mascara

I've been on the hunt for a new amazing mascara for awhile. Not that I don't have some that get the job done -- but none that have really made me say WOW in quite some time. But then Dior Diorshow Extase Mascara came into my life, and all became right with the world.

I love the brush -- the thin spherical silhouette is packed to the gills with black pearl pigments to create a 3D volume effect. It adheres to lashes so easily, it almost feels like the brush is leading the hand as you apply! Inspired by the tiered couture dresses created by the house of Dior, it features both black elastomer fibers and gold nylon fibers to define lashes and give them tons of volume.

There are also metamorphosis powders in the formula, which expand in size by up to 50 percent as you apply -- and SR38 patented ceramid reconstructs damaged lashes and promotes fuller fringe.

The end result? In just one coat, my lashes are so long they HIT MY GLASSES. They're curled, they're long, they're full and thick -- if people didn't know any better, they'd assume I was wearing fakes!
