Smoky, dusty green. Sometimes there's just nothing better than a color like that. Thankfully, I discovered Smith & Cult Bitter Buddhist.

Smith & Cult is a nail polish brand that had been on my radar for quite some time. I'd been curious because not only is the bottle design incredibly unique, but each color in the line is unbelievably gorgeous. Seriously -- I want EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

Smith & Cult Bitter Buddhist. Such a gorgeous, dusky greyish green.

I settled, however, for only purchasing two with my Birchbox points recently -- and Bitter Buddhist was one of them. Smith & Cult describes this shade as opaque celadon green, and I'm inclined to agree with their description. I actually see grey undertones in this color as well. The greyish green hue is perfect for year-round wear and just looks so undeniably chic -- it's the perfect not-quite-neutral neutral.

Just look at that bottle design! So interesting and unique.

I was honestly a bit surprised by the bottle design once I received this in the mail. I didn't expect it to be quite so large -- we're talking a majorly sizable round design with an oversized lacquered silver cap. The cap is also dinged on purpose, which I didn't realize before I was holding it in my hand. I actually thought I was sent a defective bottle at first until I researched Smith & Cult more and realized it's the way all the bottles are designed.

Shockingly, holding the cap to polish my nails wasn't as unwieldy as I thought it might be -- even the oversized silhouette was very easy to manage and manipulate. Two coats with this polish yielded even, opaque, rich color. And after three days, there's not a single chip!

I'm extremely impressed by the quality of this polish and by the unique design. I love the beautiful metallic script lettering on the front of the bottle as well -- it's just so sexy.

Smith & Cult has definitely stolen my heart. I'm pretty sure I'll be adding many more of their colors to my nail polish collection in the future.

What's on your nails right now? Let me know in the comments?
