Travel On: Plan a Trip to Carson Valley, Nevada

Carson Valley, Nevada, travel, travel tips, sponsored post, Blog Meets Brand
In case you weren’t aware, I am fairly obsessed with traveling. And, while my passport may or may not have just expired (psst: it did), that doesn’t mean the traveling has to end! While I wait for my new one to come, I’m definitely taking advantage of all the awesome places right here in the US that I haven’t had the chance to visit. And one of the places at the top of my list? Carson Valley, Nevada!

For starters, I love that Carson Valley is only about 7 hours away from LA. Yes, that sounds like a lot … but considering sometimes it could take that long just to drive to San Francisco, why not escape the palm trees of Southern California for a weekend and experience something totally different?

I’m admittedly not the most avid outdoor adventurer, but the beauty of Carson Valley definitely has me wanting to hike and explore nature. It’s one of those beautiful places that just begs to be experienced. From bike trails to ski slopes, there’s just so much beauty to be seen. And, since I’m all about posting beautiful moments on Instagram, of COURSE I’d need to post some from this gorgeous place.

And, since I’ve made no secret of how much I love fashion and beauty (hello, this is a blog mainly about beauty, after all), I definitely love all the options Carson Valley has for just that! There are tons of unique antique stores where you can unearth amazing gems from the past. I’m also super into general stores – I love stepping into a bit of history – and one like Genoa Country Store is right up my alley. And can we please talk about 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort & Spa? Five mineral spas with geothermal heated groundwater. Eucalyptus steam rooms. Tons of facial and massage options. Ummm … A RESOUNDING YES PLEASE.

When it comes to taking a trip to Carson Valley, Nevada, the question really isn’t why not. The question is, why has it taken me so long?
