#ManiMonday: Essie Bikini So Teeny

Essie, Essie Bikini So Teeny, Essie Summer 2012 collection, nails, nail polish, nail lacquer, nail varnish, manicure, #ManiMonday
In the heat of summer, I look for nail polish colors that are bright, fun and bold. Essie Bikini So Teeny has been one of those colors since it first launched in Summer 2012, and I don't see my love for it slowing down anytime soon.

As evidenced by my last #ManiMonday, I'm definitely a fan of periwinkle. And come on, can we please talk about just how gorgeous this particular periwinkle is? Essie has done the perfect job of creating a perwinkle blue that just makes you stop and stare. I actually noticed a coworker wearing this shade recently and stopped a meeting to ask her whether it was Bikini So Teeny -- because there is just no other color like it!

I also love that Bikini So Teeny is created with just the subtlest hint of shimmer. It's not always noticeable -- you have to catch the light just right to see it -- but when you do, it's just that extra hidden gem that takes this color one step further into perfection territory.

Basically, you could say that when it comes to Bikini So Teeny, I'm a fan for life. NBD.

What's on your nails right now? Let me know in the comments!

Essie Bikini So Teeny retails for $9 at kohls.com.

  4. I've worn that shade too. I always bring polish when I get my nails done but when I first saw this on the rack at the salon I knew I needed to wear this pretty color.
