#ManiMonday: Chanel Le Vernis in Washed Denim

Ooooh, Chanel. Please stop drawing me in with your gorgeous nail polishes already. My collection just keeps growing because I CANNOT STOP BUYING THEM. Oh, okay, don't stop. Case in point: Chanel Washed Denim.

During my recent trip to NYC, I was majorly delayed coming back to LA due to thunderstorms (read: waiting for 4 hours at JFK). Well, I got over my boredom pretty fast when I discovered a huge selection of Chanel nail polishes at duty free! I quite literally ran to the nail polish section and started opening up drawers to search for every color I didn't already own. I ended up finding four gorgeous polishes, all of which obviously had to come home with me.

The four Chanel nail polishes that came home with me from duty free: Lavanda, Espadrilles, Washed Denim and Mediterranée. How could I NOT want them all?

And that's how Washed Denim came into my life. I mean, come on. LOOK AT THAT GORGEOUS COLOR. I'm a huge fan of greige, and this color's got that going on in spades. Greige is just that color you can't quite place your finger on (pun intended). Is it grey? Is it blue? Is it taupe? It's a little bit of everything, AND I LOVE IT. Not to mention it goes with your entire wardrobe and it's appropriate for every season!

This color is completely opaque in two coats and is so gorgeously creamy. Staying power seems pretty good so far -- I've had it on for two days with no chipping!

Spring, summer, fall, winter ... honestly, I don't care how hot or cold it is if it means I can wear Washed Denim. Gorgeous in greige? Absolutely.
