It’s a brand new week, it’s #mermaidmonday, and I’m choosing to celebrate that in my amazing new Pitusa dress I just bought on Shopbop!
Shoutout to my friend Cari for alerting me to the fact that this is the perfect dress for an Ariel bound! Not to mention this month’s Can't Clutch This shell-printed clutch and my H&M sparkly shell earrings are the most apropos accessories!
On a more serious note ... a
lot of my friends and family have been feeling extra down lately,
myself included. The continued shutdowns and quarantine for over 140
days with no end in sight has a lot of us feeling blue. I posted on my personal Facebook account over the weekend asking if I was the only one who thought last week was perhaps the worst one yet, and it turns out a LOT of us were feeling that way. Lots of crying, meltdowns, overall sadness and frustration. It's good to know I wasn't alone in this, but I'm also sorry to anyone else who's going through the same thing.
However! I’m doing my
best to start this week off on a high note and bring some positive
mermaid energy into all of our lives!
Psst: This is just a
fun little edit I did putting me into Ariel’s world a bit more. It might
not be perfect, but it does make me smile, so there’s that! Here's a little glimpse of the dress minus the background, too.
