Discovering True Beauty: Estee Lauder Beautiful

Very rarely do I come across a fragrance that I would describe as sheer perfection. But in the case of Estee Lauder Beautiful, I'm fairly certain this is the only way to describe it.

I've always been partial to floral fragrances -- roses, lilies, violets and lilacs in particular. So right off the bat I was taken with Beautiful, which effortlessly creates a harmonious bouquet of all four flowers! But of course I love the unexpected ... which is why I am extra-taken with this glorious fragrance. Not only is it formulated with blossoms galore, but within the heady floral depths are touches of sandalwood and vetiver for a subtly woodsy, musky note that makes it alluring, daring and oh-so-sexy.

And not only is the scent to-die-for ... but the stunningly gorgeous cut glass bottle is topped with a stopper shaped as a singular blossoming rose, making it the perfect accessory atop my vanity. This is the fragrance I want to wear out on Saturday nights -- but it's also what I want to wear to work every morning. It's just how I imagine the perfect signature fragrance to be ... beautiful, indeed.
