After analyzing my skin, Jillian decided to give me the Triple Enzyme Facial. This facial includes the enzymes Papsin and Papain, Maui Peel, and Cherry Jubilee. Each works to give the skin something different:
Papsin and Papain gives the skin a smooth, polished look. It also reduces redness and swelling.
Maui Peel purifies, soothes and clarifies skin with L-lactic acid, Bromelain and pineapple, while yam extract protects the skin from sun radiation.
Cherry Jubilee is a mild exfoliant, anti-inflammatory and humectant rich in antioxidants.
I have to admit that I was a bit scared of this facial, since it's not technically for sensitive skin and mine is on the sensitive side. But within 75 minutes, I was so relaxed I thought I might fall asleep on the table. Jillian smoothed scrubs, masks and creams galore on my skin throughout the facial, each one smelling more delicious than the next. She would always warn me if one might tingle or sting -- I didn’t experience any stinging, but all of the enzymes made my skin tingle quite a bit.
When Jillian was done, my skin was GLOWING. I walked out looking and feeling absolutely amazing! I did experience some peeling and dehydration for about a week after the facial, while my skin heeled from the mild peel that was part of the facial -- but that was a small price to pay since my skin has seriously never looked better!
The Triple Enzyme Facial is $175 for 75 minutes. For more information about Jillian Wright Clinical Skin Spa or to book an appointment, click here.
