Boot Up: American Eagle Outfitters AEO Lace-Up Moto Boot

I've been searching for the perfect lace-up boot for about five years now. Every time I think I've come close, either it doesn't fit or it just doesn't live up to my expectations. And then along came the American Eagle Outfitters AEO Lace-Up Moto Boot.

If I could say these boots changed my life without sounding melodramatic, I would. The silhouette is exactly what I've been searching for all these years -- calf height, full lace up, even a side zip so I don't have to undo the laces every time I want to kick them off! Plus, they're flat, so I can walk for MILES in them without my feet hurting or feeling tired. (And yes, I've actually put this to the test.)

I will admit that I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to shoes and I typically only wear real leather. But, although these are faux, they're so realistic and well crafted that I have obviously made an exception.

Even better, they're available in both brown (as seen above -- yes, those are my feet!) and black, so you're covered for every conceivable outfit idea. How can you go wrong? (The answer: you can't.)
