Pretty in Pink: OPI Katy Perry Collection Teenage Dream

I really want to hate on Katy Perry, but I just can't. Her songs are too darn catchy. And, since I love everything glittery and sparkly, I simply couldn't resist OPI Teenage Dream, a pink stunner from the brand's Katy Perry collection, on a recent trip to Beauty & Style.

This nail polish is actually so sparkly that it seems as if it must be fake. On the nail, it looks like Minx or nail polish stickers -- it's THAT sparkly and crazy! The base is a very fine pink glitter, which is already gorgeous. But what really makes it stand out is the medium-sized particles of holographic glitter, which catch even the dimmest light beautifully and make it impossible for me not to stare at my hands 24/7.

I like that the formula was easy to apply and completely covered the nail in two coats. It is fairly gritty, even with a layer of Seche Vite on top. But there's no denying it's a polish that will get your nails noticed!
