All Hands on Deck: JUARA Candlenut Hand and Body Balm

JUARA, JUARA lotion, JUARA moisturizer, JUARA hand lotion, JUARA Candlenut Hand and Body Balm, lotion, moisturizer, hand lotion, body lotion
Whenever I read about a lotion that's supposed to be grease-free once applied, I give it a bit of the side-eye. I can't help it -- too many moisturizers claim to sink into the skin with no grease left behind, and then my body is an oil slick! Not so with JUARA Candlenut Hand and Body Balm.

First off, this lotion smells amazing. It's sweet but not cloying, so it doesn't bother me while I'm working at my desk all day. The coffee-like aroma is so calming and welcoming.

And then there's the actual formula, which is thick, lush and rich. I would actually classify this as more of a lotion than a balm, since balms tend to be more oily and slick than this formula. Thanks to candlenut oil, this lotion nourishes and conditions the skin like none other I've tried! I only use a dime-sized amount, which is enough to completely cover my cracked and chapped hands and immediately soften and smooth them.

I have a feeling I'll be using a lot of this lotion come winter, since my hands are already cracking and it's only October!

In a (candle)nut shell? I'm in love.

JUARA Candlenut Hand and Body Balm retails for $25 at drugstore.com.
