Have you heard of the Giant Rubber Duck? If not, don't worry -- I only found out about it a few days ago. But, in a nutshell, it's an art installation from Hong Kong that's now made its way stateside -- and it's taken up residence in Pittsburgh.

I, along with pretty much everyone in the Pittsburgh area yesterday, simply had to see the duck on its first night in the city. So my friend Cassie and I ventured downtown to see what all the fuss was about. After much driving around and pomp and circumstance, lo and behold...

Definitely a fun night for me and a great introduction into the kinds of things that happen in Pittsburgh during the weekend. (Which is especially great because ... drum roll please ... I am leaving NYC and moving to Pittsburgh in the next two months!)
