The idea of the overnight face mask is one I got behind last year when I tried the Korres Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial and the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask. It's honestly ingenious -- why NOT provide intense hydration to your skin while you sleep? And the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque has definitely made its way into my weekly (if not bi or tri weekly!) evening skincare regimen. It is a bit waxy and sticky, though after awhile it melts into the skin. It's formulated with glacial proteins and desert plant to smooth and soften the skin. I was thrilled to discover that my skin lost its Sahara-like texture after just one use ... and after a few weeks of consistent application, it seems things are finally back on track with my face!
But I don't think my skin would have bounced back the way it has without the added benefits of the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration. Intense hydration is right -- a dime-sized amount used all over the face makes flakiness and dryness disappear right before your very eyes! Surprisingly, the texture of this moisturizer is a bit on the watery side, but that doesn't seem to matter when it comes to the nourishment it provides. My skin is much more radiant and glowing than before, and it feels baby soft.
All in all? I've definitely found my winter skincare 1-2 punch!

What a great product! It's been hard on us all and I'm glad to hear of products like this.
