Magical PixieDust takes the original PixieDust formula to a whole new level of awesome. The formula has been amped up with larger glitter and the very first holographic pixie particles. I'm absolutely loving the sprinkles of holographic glitter throughout -- it looks like glimmering snowflakes.
Lux is a beautiful rose quartz hue sprinkled liberally with mega hex iridescent glitter particles.
Just look at that holographic glitter! |
Now, some people might object to the gritty, sand-like texture of this nail polish. It's pretty similar to Essie Belugaria, which has definitely seen its share of division in the nail polish world. It applies fairly thickly, though I do recommend two coats for complete coverage. You may even need to add more in some spots, as it can be a bit patchy even with two heavy coats. But I am absolutely in love with the texture and color as is -- no top coat necessary! (No base coat necessary either, which makes application all the easier.) It also dries pretty quickly -- I applied it before bed, and my nails were completely dry within 10 minutes (and I woke up without sheet marks)!
Simply put? This nail polish is DAZZLING.
The Zoya Magical PixieDust Collection retails for $30 at zoya.com.
I am definitely ordering some of this color.
