Every color from the Hello Kitty Collection is adorable and gorgeous (and I'll be bringing you swatches of some others from the collection very soon), but this one struck a special chord with me. I don't know if it's because Valentine's Day is this week or because once in awhile I just really want to wear pink nail polish, but either way, I'm totally loving it!
A closer look at OPI Starry-Eyed for Dear Daniel. Look at that glitter! |
This is definitely one of those perfect pinks. The bright fuchsia base is liberally sprinkled with multicolored microglitter (blue, pink and silver) that build to create even more pink overtones and undertones. Two coats yield rich, opaque color. The finish is a bit gritty in texture, since it's quite glittery, but it evens out a bit with top coat.
And come on -- is that cap covered in Hello Kitty the cutest thing or what?
Whether or not you care about Valentine's Day (and I honestly really don't), this is just a fun pink to wear and show a little love. It's just perfectly pink!
OPI Starry-Eyed for Dear Daniel retails for $10 at ulta.com.

ReplyDeleteGreat packaging - I wonder what Hello Kitty's plan is here. They did a line with NCLA last year, had their museum in NYC, now OPI... I'm just wondering if it's all gearing up to a movie or something!
