It's Week 1 of my new job at Bergdorf Goodman, and so far so good! But of course I have a few beauty products up my sleeve just in case things get tough. Here's what I'm totally loving this week.
ghd Heat Protect Spray ($17 at ghdhair.com): I've tried tons of serums and sprays meant to protect my hair from heat styling, and up until now none of them have worked. They leave my hair feeling coarse and heavy, and I don't see any real difference showing in my tresses from using them. But this one is totally and completely different. A few spritzes before blowdrying and flat ironing and this keeps my locks totally frizz-free. They're so shiny and glossy, and at the same time it doesn't feel like it's coating my hair with heaviness or weighing it down. Furthermore, I can still run my fingers through my hair without it feeling sticky or greasy. All in all? Totally worth it.
e.l.f. Candy Shop Lip Tins: I'm a total lip balm junkie ... and while I love slicking it on out of a tube, once in awhile I really like the tin form. And these are my absolute faves, with their old-school design and absolutely delicious flavors. The most delectable? Cherry Bomb, which tastes exactly like maraschino cherries and leaves a gorgeous hint of red sheen on the pout. As 50 cent would say, "Let me take you to the candy shop."
Note: This product is no longer available.
I have yet to try their Refining Mask, although I have heard it's great! I love their Deep Cleansing Wash. It has Salicylic acid and exfoliates without being drying. BTW I love your Lusts of the Week!
ReplyDeleteA good spot treatment is a lustful product to be sure! I love cherry scented lip balms, and I bet I would looove this one. Thanks Jamie!
ReplyDeleteJennifer -- Thanks! :) I haven't tried the Deep Cleansing Wash, but I will definitely check it out!
ReplyDeleteJen Hill -- I totally agree re: spot treatments. And if you love cherry lip balms, this one is right up your alley!
