Under the Sea: Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream

I'm just going to go ahead and admit something to you. Ready? Here we go. I don't use night cream. Whew. That was tough. But I guess I should amend my statement. I didn't use night cream ... until I discovered Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream.

First of all, just look at that creamy goodness! The formula is lush, rich and thick without feeling greasy or heavy. Plus, it sinks into skin immediately without leaving behind any residue or slick finish. A combination of elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid combine with bladderwrack extract to nourish dehydrated skin (which, let's face it, I've totally been suffering from these past few months).

I was a bit put off at first by the green hue of the cream -- what if it left a verdigris tinge upon my skin? (Well, at least then I'd sort of make my dream of playing Elphaba in Wicked come true.) Luckily, though, the color fades once you massage it into your skin, leaving behind a dewy, satiny glow.

Within only a few days, my skin was already softer and smoother, without any unsightly flaking in, well, sight! I'm now completely hooked -- I can't imagine a single evening going by without including this cream in my routine. Thank goodness for small favors!
