My Top 6 Summer Beauty Must Haves

Jamie Allison Sanders, Martha's Vineyard, Philbin Beach, Top 6 Summer Beauty Must Haves, summer beauty products
I don't know about you, but sticky summer temperatures make me reach for a whole different set of beauty products. And, if I'm really being honest here? They make me reach for a whole lot LESS. There's nothing I hate more than hair on my neck and makeup on my face when it's over 80 degrees. (That pic above? It's me in all my summer glory, during my recent vacation to Martha's Vineyard.) These XXX products are the ones that are getting me through this summer in style.

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM with Sunscreen SPF 30
Don't kill me, but I'm not always the best at remembering to wear sunscreen on a daily basis. (And yes, I know how bad that is for my skin.) But when I'm at the beach? I lather up. This is my new favorite sunscreen, hands down -- it moisturizes and protects against harmful rays in one fell swoop, without any irritation to my sensitive skin or eyes. The formula feels just like a regular moisturizer, not too greasy or cakey, so I don't mind wearing it all day long.

Lululemon Bang Buster Headband in Black
My. New. Obsession. I have seriously been wearing this headband EVERYWHERE (don't believe me? Just look at this post's opening photo) and I'm in love. It's stretchy but stays in place all day long, whether you're doing yoga or hanging out at the beach. Seriously, I'm in love.

AHAVA Time To Hydrate Active Moisture Gel Cream Advanced Skin Conditioner
I'm always a fan of gel-cream moisturizers in the summer, since regular ones tend to feel too heavy. With its combination of kiwi and flax seed extracts and the brand's exclusive Dead Sea-infused Osmoter, this one delivers an intense level of refreshing hydration while sinking into skin immediately upon contact.

Sephora Collection Ombre Seamless Hair Ties
I've actually already discussed my love of these ponytail holders here, but I don't think the song of their fabulousness can be sung enough. I now own them in every color, and I keep them everywhere, from my car's console and my bedside table to my desk at work and every purse I own. They don't pull or snag hair, they don't leave ridges, and, simply put, they're pretty. Case closed.

C. Booth Mimosa Honeysuckle Shaving Oil
Champagne grapes, grapefruit, orange and honeysuckle? Quite the delightful blend of ingredients, n'est-ce pas? This shaving oil has actually made me want to use more than soap and water to shave my legs ... and, shockingly, to WANT to shave my legs.

Bath & Body Works French Lavender & Honey Shower Gel
I'm normally not a fan of lavender scented products, but I'm making an exception for this one since the bottle is so pretty and it includes honey. I normally have a problem using the same shower gel day in and day out, but I keep finding myself reaching for this one!
