Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend: Zoya Magical PixieDust in Cosmo

I don't know if you're anything like me ... but when I try a nail polish for the first time and it translates perfectly from bottle to nail, I get incredibly excited. And when it exceeds expectations and looks even more fabulous than I anticipated? I pretty much just want to squeal with glee. That's how I feel about Zoya Magical PixieDust in Cosmo.

I'm a huge fan of all the PixieDust colors, but the Magical PixieDust collection really knocks it out of the park for me. I had already fallen truly, madly, DEEPLY in love with Lux, so it's really no wonder that Cosmo made me jump for joy. As with all PixieDusts, the texture is very gritty. Application was very easy -- two coats yielded complete coverage. And thanks to the multiple holographic glitter particles, the matte silver glitter base ends up looking surprisingly shiny.

To me, this nail polish looks like a combination of millions of stars in the heavens (hence the name) and crushed diamonds. It glitters, it shimmers, it sparkles, it shines ... it glitzes up any outfit and make staring at your nails impossible. I decided to wear this nail polish to a friend's wedding this past weekend (side note: the beauty of the Hudson Valley is SPECTACULARLY UNPARALLELED in the fall) and people were complimenting me on it all night!

    Cosmo is gorgeous on you! The matte silver base translated as an unflattering shade grey on me, though, so I gave it to my leetle seester... a move I've regretted a little, lol. I fell hard for Lux, too-- I adore the Magical Pixies and it's fun to see someone else who loves them :) :)
