Even Beauty Routines Get the Blues: My Current One Does, Anyway (in the Absolute Best Way)

Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask, Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water, TULA Revitalizing Eye Cream, Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave-In Conditioner, bluemercury M-61 Fast Blast 2-Minute Vitamin C Facial Mask, Tony Moly Master Lab Intensive Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask, skincare, hair, hair products, skin care, blue beauty products, beauty routine, beauty regimen
As Type A as I am -- and I admit, I'm pretty Type A -- I somehow never transfer this to my beauty routine. I think it's because I'm constantly adding new products into the rotation with tried and true faves, so there isn't necessarily a rhyme or reason to what products I'm using. I'm always so drawn to people's Instagram posts featuring products of specific colors, but I just don't seem to BE one of those people.

Well, until now, that is. While cleaning my vanity this week, I noticed that, lo and behold, all of the products I'm currently using and loving are BLUE! Cue the beauty gods, because I'm pretty sure the Hallelujah chorus started playing and a light bulb went on above my head. Okay, maybe I'm being dramatic, but I have to admit, I was just so excited that I finally put together a color-themed beauty routine -- and it wasn't even on purpose! These are the six blue beauty products I'm currently loving.

Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask
Oh, Glossier. Are you ever going to stop making products that make my heart go pitter-patter? (I'm pretty sure the answer is no.) This face mask is one of my true skincare staples -- I've bought it again and again (and again), because it's JUST. THAT. GOOD. It's whipped, it's buttery, it's undeniably divine. I actually use a lighter layer of this as a night cream -- the combination of licorice root, lemon fruit extract, honey, aloe and hyaluronic acid mean my skin is bright, glowing and super soft come morning.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water
I've already reviewed this miracle worker in detail here, but I'll just say this. If you're looking for a product that removes even the most stubborn makeup and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy or oily, this is the one. Liquid eyeliner is no match for this baby!

TULA Revitalizing Eye Cream
I'd been curious about TULA for quite some time, so when the opportunity came to try this eye cream, I quite literally jumped in the air with a shout of glee. (It's true.) And this eye cream does not disappoint! It's light and creamy, and a little goes a long way -- less than a dime-sized amount is enough for both eyes. I also love how the cooling effect lasts for awhile after application, so your eyes really do feel revitalized. The scent is interesting -- it kind of smells like fresh paint, but in a satisfying and not disgusting way. I'm all around impressed with this one!

Sexy Hair Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave-In Conditioner
Can a beauty product be your soulmate? If so, I'm pretty sure this leave-in conditioning spray is the one. I've been buying this stuff for years -- it's the only leave-in conditioner that makes my hair soft, shiny and workable whether I air dry, blowdry it straight or go for tons of curls. In two words? MIRACLE WORKER.

bluemercury M-61 Fast Blast 2-Minute Vitamin C Facial Mask
You guys, I am OBSESSED with this mask. I've been using it for years -- and, to be honest, I'd probably love it even if it didn't make my skin look amazing just because it's so much fun. It goes on with a gel-like consistency, and within seconds turns to a mass of fizzing, energizing bubbles. After two minutes, you rinse it off, and voila! Your skin is left softer, smoother and brighter than you ever thought possible. It really is just a nice perk to actually have this mask work as well as it does.

Tony Moly Master Lab Intensive Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask
Yes, I'm on a Tony Moly kick and you can't stop me! If they'd just stop making products that reeled me in, I'd stop buying them. But since that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon, enter this jawdroppingly INCREDIBLE sheet mask. I picked it up while standing in the checkout line at Ulta (AKA my kryptonite), simply because the packaging was too cute to pass up. Well, not only is this sheet mask liberally drenched in nourishing hyaluronic acid that leaves skin looking and feeling uber smooth, but the nude seal fabric -- made of natural cellulose with a silky soft texture -- conforms to the skin so perfectly, you'll almost forget you have it on.

  3. That is so funny, Jamie! No, there's no theme for me other than using a number of products that I'm testing that look the same just because they're from the same brand
