Even Beauty Routines Get the Blues: My Current One Does, Anyway (in the Absolute Best Way)

Post a comment!

Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask, Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water, TULA Revitalizing Eye Cream, Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave-In Conditioner, bluemercury M-61 Fast Blast 2-Minute Vitamin C Facial Mask, Tony Moly Master Lab Intensive Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask, skincare, hair, hair products, skin care, blue beauty products, beauty routine, beauty regimen
As Type A as I am -- and I admit, I'm pretty Type A -- I somehow never transfer this to my beauty routine. I think it's because I'm constantly adding new products into the rotation with tried and true faves, so there isn't necessarily a rhyme or reason to what products I'm using. I'm always so drawn to people's Instagram posts featuring products of specific colors, but I just don't seem to BE one of those people.

When summer rolls around, I look for skincare that's going to hydrate, refresh and rejuvenate my skin all while feeling light, airy and weightless. It's a tall order as many moisturizers are heavy, creamy and meant for cooler temperatures. Enter Garnier SkinActive Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream.

I swear I'm not bragging -- it's just my way of life. But I'm totally changing my tune now, thanks to Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water.

My 5 Favorite Beauty Products

Post a comment!

I have one burning question for every person I interview in the beauty industry:

What are your 5 favorite beauty products?

I realized lately that I have never answered this question myself! And, I must admit, picking only 5 is extremely difficult. But, lo and behold, I present my 5 favorite beauty products for you.

Bonne Bell, Bonne Bell Lip Smacker, Bonne Bell Vanilla Lip Smacker, Bonne Bell lip balm, lip balm, balm, lip, lips
Bonne Bell Lip Smackers
Maybe you'll think I'm acting like a tween for liking these. But I don't care how old I get, or how many lip balms I try ... these are the absolute best! I've been known to buy out the supply of Lip Smackers at Target, to keep them in every purse and every room of my apartment, to recommend them to every single person who asks me about lip balm. It's difficult for me to pick a favorite flavor, but if hard pressed, I would say Watermelon ... although Vanilla is pretty tasty, too. I love the myriad flavors, and I love that they keep my lips moisturized better than any other balm I've tried. Ever.

Toweling Off: Garnier The Refreshing Remover Cleansing Towelettes

Post a comment!

Does anyone actually enjoy washing their faces at night? It's such a hassle -- when all you want to do is flop into bed, you have to spend extra time using makeup remover, cleanser, masks. Ugh. So when I came across the Garnier Nutritioniste The Refreshing Remover Cleansing Towelettes, I was more than a little skeptical. How could a single towelette clear my face entirely of all the makeup I'd worn and the impurities I'd collected in my skin throughout the day? There was no way, I thought.

I don't know about you, but my hair gets really dry, really fast. And the harder the water, the tougher it is for me to comb through it after a shower! I've tried tons of deep conditioners, leave-in conditioners, conditioning creams ... you name it, my tresses have experienced it. And my all-time favorite is definitely Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave-In Conditioning Cream.

Move Over, Pantene: Garnier Fructis to the Rescue!

Post a comment!

Garnier, Garnier Fructis, Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Fortifying Cream Conditioner, Pantene, conditioner, hair, hair products
You know what I am seriously in love with right now? Shiny, silky, HEALTHY hair. And while I've tried virtually every product on the market to make my locks glisten with the best of 'em, my tresses always seem to come up short. Pomades are too waxy, serums are too greasy, and most shine-enducing shampoos and conditioners leave my locks looking and feeling pretty darn lackluster. And forget straightening irons -- no added shine seems to radiate from them, no matter how heated they become! But then I happened upon Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Fortifying Cream Conditioner.
