I've decided I don't care that Labor Day marks the end of summer. It's supposed to be 74 degrees today, which in my eyes means summer is still here ... so I'm bringing you another edition of the Best Summer Body Wash Series! Today's installment is the Malin + Goetz Bergamot Body Wash.

I've long been a fan of Malin + Goetz. Their packaging is reminiscent of a modern-day apothecary. I love the block lettering upon the simple white background -- it's somehow totally now and totally old-world at the same time. But aside from the packaging, this body wash really and truly delivers. Only a dime-sized amount upon your pouf will create so much foam, bubbles and lather, you'll really have to work to make them go away!

Natural bergamot blended with amino acid-based cleansing agents really work to purify and balance the skin, while glycerin hydrates and moisturizes. Not to mention the scent is so energizingly fruity and delicious. It's zesty and zingy with tons of citrus flavor bursting through.

If you're looking for a shower gel that will really make you feel luxurious and refined, then you absolutely must try Acqua di Parma Colonia Bath and Shower Gel. This delightful bottle is filled with a light and refreshingly fragrant gel that somehow manages to cleanse the skin and soothe the mind simultaneously.

The fragrance is made up of citrus top notes, floral heart notes and woody base notes with hints of spice. The actual notes are bergamot, citrus, lemon, bitter orange, sweet orange, English lavender, Bulgarian or Damascene rose, verbena, clary sage, rosemary, cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver and oakmoss. This sounds a bit scattered, I know. But it's actually quite balanced and easy on the senses.

Luckily, the shower gel lathers quite nicely. Formulated with wheat germ and coconut oil, it cleanses and conditions unbelievably well. And my skin has never felt softer!

Best Summer Body Wash Series: Bobbi Brown Beach Shower Gel

Can't make it to the beach this summer ... or just want to relive that Hawaii vacation over and over again? (I know I do.) Well, Bobbi Brown Beach Shower Gel is fabulous for either sentiment. The name of this shower gel really is apt -- it smells exactly like the beach.

I have to admit I was curious before I popped open the tube. How could the delightful smell of the beach (minus seaweed, which looks and smells disgusting) be poured into a fragrance? But Bobbi captures it perfectly with notes of sand jasmine, sea spray and mandarin. The scent is somehow intoxicating, refreshing and purely delightful all at once. And luckily, it won't follow you all day -- it's light and crisp without any cloying feeling left behind.

And the lather! I haven't seen lather this good in I don't know how long. Only a dime-sized amount upon your washcloth or pouf will get you so many bubbles, you'll be hard-pressed to get them all onto your body. Plus, it's formulated with sea kelp extract to moisturize and condition as it cleanses.

The packaging is simple -- just a white tube with black writing and a black cap. But there's something quite nice about the simplicity of it, I must admit. It's clean, refreshing and doesn't put on any airs -- just like the beach.

I've long been a fan of Aromatherapy Associates. I haven't found another brand so adept at creating products that make me feel like I've been transported to the most luxurious spa on the planet. So of course I need to include a body wash from the line in this series ... and there isn't one finer than Renew Rose Body Wash.

This delightfully fragrant body wash is formulated with chamomile to soften the skin, while rose and sandalwood oils keep it hydrated. Damask rose water nourishes the skin and leaves it soft and glowing. It even has aloe vera juice to keep skin feeling soothed!

But it's the scent that really keeps me coming back for more. It's unbelievably fragrant and heady but not at all cloying. The scent fills up the bathroom each time I use it, but never gives me a headache or sinks into the skin so heavily that I feel claustrophobic throughout the day. I'm not really a fan of oriental fragrances normally. They always feel a bit too heavy for my liking. But Miller Harris Fleur Oriental Shower Wash totally makes me rethink my opinion, because I've got to be honest ... it smells amazing.
