Throwback Thursday: Deborah Lippmann Believe (and a Look at My First Manicure Post!)

It may be hard to "believe" (pardon the pun), but I began documenting my favorite nail polishes and manicures back in 2010. My very first Mani of the Week post (which has since evolved into #ManiMonday) was about a nail polish that remains one of my favorites to this very day. I speak, of course, about Deborah Lippmann Believe.

At the time, Deborah Lippmann's nail polish brand was actually named Lippmann Collection. I actually still have my bottle of Lippmann Collection Believe, in addition to two bottles of it in Deborah Lippmann form. (Seriously, this color is SO FABULOUS.)

What makes it fabulous, one may ask? First off, the combination of gold and silver glitter and shimmer makes it go with anything and everything in your closet. It's pale enough to almost pass as a nude, but with just enough punch to really stand out and make people take notice. Plus, it was created with Cher. Come on, what else could you want?

It's been close to 5 years since I first posted about this polish and my love is still going strong. To be honest, I really don't see it ending ... well ... ever.

    I do own a few shades that have been with me for 4/5 years and still please me! And how cool you got an original bottle, as well.
