My Most Recent Mani: RGB Oxblood
I don't know what it is recently, but I'm extremely into reds and pinks. And RGB Oxblood certainly fits the bill. It's deep, it's rich, it's absolutely gorgeous.
I love that this polish is a hybrid of red, scarlet and black -- it's just so sexy and chic. I simply had to wear it for my trip to Hershey, PA this past weekend! (More about that soon.) Oxblood is THE color of the season, and RGB certainly got it right with this nail polish.

My 5 Favorite Beauty Products
I have one burning question for every person I interview in the beauty industry:
What are your 5 favorite beauty products?
I realized lately that I have never answered this question myself! And, I must admit, picking only 5 is extremely difficult. But, lo and behold, I present my 5 favorite beauty products for you.
Maybe you'll think I'm acting like a tween for liking these. But I don't care how old I get, or how many lip balms I try ... these are the absolute best! I've been known to buy out the supply of Lip Smackers at Target, to keep them in every purse and every room of my apartment, to recommend them to every single person who asks me about lip balm. It's difficult for me to pick a favorite flavor, but if hard pressed, I would say Watermelon ... although Vanilla is pretty tasty, too. I love the myriad flavors, and I love that they keep my lips moisturized better than any other balm I've tried. Ever.

Mani of the Week: Chanel Peridot
I have longed to try Chanel Peridot since it was released last fall. I really don't know what the holdup was -- just laziness, I suppose! Luckily, I finally tried it during my visit to Fix Beauty Bar this past weekend, and I can say with absolute certainty that IT. IS. AMAZING.
Is it green? Is it gold? It's BOTH. I love the dichotomy of the colors, and the way the polish changes in the light. You can even see both colors in the picture above, which I think is especially cool.
Plus, even though Peridot has a super shimmery finish, there are no streak marks, making it A-OK in my book. Now all that's left is for me to actually buy it and add it to my Chanel collection!

I have a confession to make. I don't wear a watch. (I'll wait for the gasps to subside.) Well, at least that was the case until I discovered the Michael Kors Paris Limited Edition Runway Watch.
